Dues
Dues for individual Members, Associates, and Surviving Spouses are determined by the Board of Directors.
- The dues required of a member are lowered for those who select the option to receive CRYPTOLOG online rather than through the mail. CRYPTOLOG issues are available on the website to logged-in Individual members and Associates.
- Dues are due at 1 July, although in practice members should consider paying dues starting about May 1. Dues received 1 January—30 June are generally considered to be applied to the upcoming membership year, although a member may opt for continuity back to the previous 1 July. Dues received from 1 July to 31 December are generally applied to the membership year currently in progress.
- A period of “grace” of about three months is generally applied to late payment of dues. However, members are relied upon to keep cognizant of the expiration of their membership terms.
CRYPTOLOG issues missed can only be made up to the extent to which additional copies are available and only if a self-addressed stamped—media mail, 1lb for up to three issues—large envelope is provided. This applies as well to members joining after the membership year is in progress.
When possible, dues expiration notices will be sent via email. Members are responsible for notifying the Membership Secretary of changes to their email address.
