How do I use the "Web Chat" feature?

  1. Select "Web Chat" from the menu in the left frame.

  2. When the pop-up window appears, select "Settings".

  3. When the next pop-up window appears, enter your user name (use a single word)! You may elect to enter your full name in the "Additonal Info" field.

  4. Next click the "OK" button on the "Settings" pop-up Window.
  5. Then click the "Connect" button on the Chat Window.

  6. The Chat Window will update, present a welcome message, and let you know how many other users are online.

  7. If you click the "Chat rooms" button, the Chat rooms window will pop-up and you'll be able to see if any specific subject chat rooms have been created.

    1. Each user is permitted to create one chat room.
    2. The user that creates the chat room controls the chat room.
    3. If you password protect the chat room the other users will need to know the password in order to join the room, or the person creating the Private Chat room will have to invite the users to join.
